More Than an Auction — A Place Where Community Comes Together

OUR STORY

Sunset Auction Company was founded in 1986 by S. W. (Wayne) Williford in Thomson, Georgia. What began with a passion for the auction business has grown into a family-owned and operated company proudly serving the community for 40 years.

Today, Wayne remains the proud owner of Sunset Auction Company, working alongside his son, Daniel Williford. Together, they bring years of experience, dedication, and a shared passion for the auction industry. Daniel is also a licensed real estate broker, bringing additional knowledge and expertise to the family business.

Over the years, Sunset Auction Company has become more than just an auction house. From estate auctions, antiques, collectibles, classic cars, and equipment to live music, special events, and private celebrations, Sunset has become a place where the community comes together.

As a family-owned business, we take pride in honest service, building lasting relationships, and treating our customers like family. Whether you're buying, selling, consigning, or celebrating a special occasion, we're committed to making every experience a memorable one.
